Rite of Confirmation (ROC) - Grade 7

Sealing our youth with the Holy Spirit.  Confirmation is the Sacrament in which baptized persons receive a special grace which strengthens them for the profession of Christian faith.

Confirmation is usually conferred by the Bishop, who lays his hands on the recipients, making the sign of the Cross with chrism on their foreheads, while he says: "Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit"

Confirmation is received by students in Grade 7 of our ROC program. Teenagers and adults seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation are asked to contact the parish office.

EDGE - Grades 6 to 8

A way for tweens to learn about the Catholic faith in a way they can understand and relate to while still keeping them engaged.

EDGE is a Catholic Elementary School Ministry for tweens in grades 6,7 & 8, designed knowing that middle school youth are very much "on the EDGE" because so much is going on in their lives physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. It can be a very stressfull and difficult time for both them and their parents. As a Catholic community, we desire to give these tweens the "EDGE" they need in life, Jesus! Our goal is to meet the educational, spiritual, emotional and social needs of EDGErs while keeping them engaged and entertained!
